The CLEA Research Group - Cognition, Language, Enactivism and Affectivity - was founded in May of 2020 with the purpose of uniting researchers from all over the country around related themes and interests.
Despite contemplating a wide spectrum of theoretical positions and inclinations, the group assumes that cognitive, linguistic and affective processes cannot be understood outside the agent’s situated activities in his/her (physical and social) environment.
The main proposals and activities of the group can be understood within these four axes:
- to encourage the study, debate and academic production around these themes;
- to establish a support and debate group on works in progress and new proposals;
- to establish partnerships for writing scientific papers, organizing events and developing research, extension and teaching projects;
- to promote meetings and workshops that may attract the interest of the academic community around these themes.
